There are numerous resources available to students on campus to help them be successful in their courses and support them through university life. Old Main is filled with resources to facilitate student life academically and physically.
Financial Aid Office
Financing post-secondary education can be a daunting endeavor, but TRU offers numerous opportunities to students to help fund their education and living costs through the Student Awards and Financial Aid Office. Such opportunities include scholarships, bursaries, Work Study positions, loans and more. To learn more about the specifics of these funding opportunities, students can contact the Student Awards and Financial Aid Office located in Room 1629.
Writing Centre
One unique resource on campus is the Writing Centre, located in Old Main Room 1411. This is a space where students can connect with tutors who provide guidance and feedback on written assignments throughout the whole writing process to help students generate their best work.
Computer Labs & Print Shop
Another academic resource located in Old Main are the Computer Labs, open to students 24hrs a day, 7 days a week. The flexibility in hours and abundance of space work on assignments online makes the space easily accessible to students all throughout the semester. Printers are also available in the computer labs if students need to print something in Black and White, provided they bring their own paper. If print demands require more than just black and white printing, students can go to the TRU Print Shop. The Print Shop offers an abundance of services, such as colored printing, poster and banner making, sticker printing and more. Students can connect with the Print Shop via email to have their projects printed however they would like.
Medical Clinic
TRU has a medical clinic located right on campus in Old Main. The TRU Medical Clinic is located right on Campus in Old Main Room 1461. Three physicians are available to provide full-time support for registered on-campus students in need of medical services. Students can make an appointment with a physician that fits their personal schedule.
Wellness Centre
The Wellness Centre is another beneficial resource on campus for students to utilize and take care of their mental health. Located in Old Main Room 1479, the Wellness Centre is a space for students to focus on their well-being, ranging from physical, emotional, social aspects and more through various activities, services and programs facilitated by the Wellness Centre community.
TRU is here to support students throughout their academic journey and fulfill their potential!
