Summer is a spectacular time at TRU, as the beauty of campus really shines through with the extra sunny days! From the clear, stunning views of the valley to the lively landscaping which attracts many of our resident deer, we think that summer is one of the best times of the year to visit us and see what TRU offers for you and your education.

Think you need to see it to believe it? Good thing we’d love to welcome you to campus for a visit!

You can explore TRU in 4 ways this July and August:

Future Student Tours

If you are interested in TRU or you have applied and aren’t sure if we’re right for you, we invite you to come for a guided tour with a member of the Future Students team!

Future Student Tours are available to be booked Monday through Friday at 10:00 AM (excluding statutory holidays).

Rain or shine, one of our friendly and knowledgeable staff from the Future Students Office will be here to show you around campus and answer your questions. Grab your friends and family and reserve your spot!

New Student Tours

Know you’re coming to TRU in Fall 2024? Come explore campus with our Orientation and Transitions team to learn about everything TRU has to offer including our diverse student supports, facilities, amenities, beautiful outdoor spaces, and more.

New Student Tours are offered at various times throughout July and August. Choose the best day and time for you here!

Self-guided Tour

Self-guided tours are available for anyone wanting to explore TRU at their own pace. Brochures, full of TRU fun facts, are available in person at the Future Students office or digitally for download here.

Family Scavenger Hunt

The Family Scavenger Hunt welcomes all families new and familiar with TRU to stop in and interactively explore everything the main campus has to offer while having some fun.

Scavenger Hunt packages with an activity book for our younger WolfPack enthusiasts and TRU information for the hunt leader are available in the Future Students Office, Monday through Friday between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM, and outside the office in a labelled tote after hours.

No matter how you choose to visit us this summer, we hope that you have a blast exploring TRU! If you have any questions, please reach out to the Future Students Office at futurestudents@tru.ca or by phone at 250-828-5006. Happy touring!
